From my bench, I watch you approach the coffee shop. You’re dressed comfortably for summer; a loose t-shirt and cargos that give no indication of what you might look like beneath, and sandals. You’re a quarter of an hour early, though I had expected you before now. I’m hoping these precious minutes will give me some clue of what you’ll want from me, when I come to you.
You sit down and the waitress brings you a menu. You smile at her, say something that makes her giggle. She walks away, still smiling.
Relaxing back in your seat, you look out over the beach to the sea. The wind rises a moment, and you take off your cap, closing your eyes, just feeling and enjoying being. It’s lovely to finally have the reality of you here in front of me. We’ve known each other for so long now. This meeting has been a long time coming. When you open your eyes again, you take in the café, the beach, the promenade. Boy, you are something, sitting there completely at peace.
The waitress brings two cups of coffee and I take my cue.
A Choice
Keeping you in sight, I rise from the bench, tuck a book into my bag. I cross over the promenade and that’s when you notice me. You freeze, just staring at me. I don’t look away, walk straight over to you. Excitement rushes through me, sharp with the edge of desire. And I’m desperate to know which version of you is about to meet me.
Either way, I’m ready.
When I reach your table, you rise to standing. And it’s like there’s no-one else around, just the two of us. Time stands still. There’s a natural warmth in the space between us, it feels so good.
We embrace. Oh god, you’re real. And you’re really here. I squeeze myself against you, pressing myself against your body, and you respond. The embrace lasts a few seconds longer than strictly appropriate.
As we planned, this is the moment, and I’m dying of excitement. With your arms wrapped around me, you whisper two words into my ear, telling me how this is going to play out.
What do you whisper?
“Use me.”
“You’re mine.” – COMING SOON
